Who we are

The Levante Veneto,
opened in 1997 as a tobacconist shop, by the Bonini family, using the central location to sell little pieces of souvenir glass as well as providing the services of a public shop.

But everyone in the Bonini family is appassionately cultured on Venetian history, and love to keep as long as it is possible our cultural traditions, both in an intellectual, and in a practical way. That is why, year by year, we matured the convinction, to bet on Murano Glass, as a practical and historical part of the venetian taste of beauty and way of trading. Giving up the tobacco license to became a Glass shop; but we didn't want to be "another glass shop", so our choice has been to be unique.

We furnished our shop in Pear and Cherry woods to give the warm sensation to be in a living room, completed by an old Iranian carpet; the lines inside the shop are made sweet by the circular shapes, who dislike “hard angles” as a feminine and polite speech. We started wandering in Murano choosing pieces and getting our byzantine-style relationships with the producers: both artists and artisans.

Nowadays our trade is fixed in some brands, who offer serious guarantees in quality, and provenience of the Glass and Jewels we sell to you. Close to these majors, we offer the possibility to local small artisans to keep their business. The Levante Veneto is now managed by Mr. Michele Bonini. Mr. Bonini assures that all the products you find in our shop are made locally.
